SUMMARY
If you install Microsoft Outlook 97 on Microsoft Windows 98, you may not
have Microsoft Mail or Microsoft Fax as available services in Outlook. In
addition, other MAPI services such as Internet Mail and the Microsoft
Network may not work. MORE INFORMATIONWindows Messaging and Microsoft Fax are no longer available as installation options with Windows 98. Instead, they are installed by running standalone programs from your Windows 98 compact disc. You can find these programs in the folder: <CD drive>:\tools\oldwin95\message\ To Install Windows Messaging
To Install Microsoft FaxNOTE: To function, Microsoft Fax requires the installation of a full MAPI client such as Windows Messaging, Microsoft Exchange, or Outlook 97.
