SYMPTOMSYou may not be able to copy or move an item from a large Personal Folders (.pst) file with Outlook 97, versions 8.0, 8.01, or 8.02, if the .pst was modified and saved in Outlook 2000 with the "allow large table" option. You may receive one of the following errors when attempting to copy, or move an item to a folder in a .pst file that contains more than 16,383 items, 16 kilobytes (KB):

CAUSE
This problem can occur if you have turned on the option to "Allow upgrade to large tables" and your .pst contains a folder over 16 KB in size. RESOLUTIONOpen the .pst with Outlook 8.03 or higher, and then delete enough messages to reduce the large folder below 16 KB. MORE INFORMATIONThis problem is likely to occur when a roaming network user opens the same .pst with different versions of Outlook. Archived .pst files can also cause this problem when opened in older versions of Outlook. Additional query words: OL2K 98
