SYMPTOMSWhen you receive unencrypted e-mail in Outlook 97 (that is, e-mail that has not been digitally sealed) from another user, you can manually forward that e-mail to another security-enabled user after signing and sealing it. However, if you attempt to forward that mail as signed and sealed by using either a server-based or a client-based rule, it is not forwarded. CAUSE
This behavior is by design. You can use rules only to forward normal (that is, non-secure) mail messages as non-secure messages. Non-secure mail messages cannot be forwarded as signed and sealed messages using rules. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, forward the message manually. If you have digital security enabled, and your recipient is also security enabled, the mail can be sent digitally signed and sealed. Also, ensure that you pick the recipients from the Contacts folder, not from the global address list. MORE INFORMATIONIn Outlook 97, you can choose to digitally sign and seal all outgoing e-mail.
