SUMMARYThe text in a presentation created in an earlier version of PowerPoint looks fine until the presentation has been saved in a PowerPoint 2000 file format. When the upgraded file is opened again, text that was formatted using an embedded font will no longer look the same if the font is not installed on the system. MORE INFORMATIONThe PowerPoint 2000 file format will only accept Unicode fonts. Because fonts embedded in PowerPoint 4.0 and 95 presentations are ANSI fonts they are removed from the presentation when you save it in the PowerPoint 2000 file format.
