SYMPTOMS
If you apply certain custom animation effects to a drawing object that
has a semi-transparent fill color, that object appears grainy or dithered
as it animates during your slide show. After the initial animation, the
object appears correctly.
CAUSEPowerPoint displays semi-transparent objects by filling them with alternating pixels of the color of the object and the color of the background. When PowerPoint stretches or sizes the drawing object during animation, this pattern of alternating pixels is temporarily distorted. RESOLUTIONThis symptom does not appear with most of the animation effects. It is also much less noticeable if your Windows display settings are set for more than 256 colors or if you are using a faster computer.
