SYMPTOMSWhen you play a media clip object, such as a movie or sound file, you may be prompted to save your presentation, even though you made no changes to the presentation. If you try to close the presentation, you receive the following warning: Where PresentationName.ppt is the name of the presentation that you are trying to save. CAUSEWhen you play a media clip object, while editing the slide or during a slide show, the media clip application (Windows Media Player) must create a new image of the media clip that it just played. This changes the slide, forcing PowerPoint to prompt you to save the presentation even if no changes can be seen. WORKAROUNDPlay the media clip through PowerPoint. To do this, follow these steps:
