CAUSE
This problem occurs when a program, such as Microsoft Picture It!, registers export filters under the following registry key: WORKAROUNDSave Slides in the PNG FormatIf you need to save your presentation in one of the previously mentioned formats, you can use the Portable Network Graphics (PNG) format as an intermediary format between PowerPoint 2000 slides and the final graphics format.The PNG format supports up to 32 million colors and uses a lossless compression scheme to retain maximum detail. These files can then be taken into any graphics application and saved out in the format desired.
