SYMPTOMSWhen you view a PowerPoint presentation that has been saved as a Web page, some bitmap images may be displayed upside-down or displayed as a mirror image. CAUSE
You are able to flip vector-based clipart within PowerPoint. Bitmap files will not flip inside PowerPoint. If you have a bitmap and a vector clipart grouped or selected together, the flip options are available on the Draw menu. If you attempt to flip a group, the vector clipart will flip and the bitmap will not. However, both pictures will be flagged as flipped when this happens. RESOLUTIONThe bitmap must be flipped again, or reinserted inside PowerPoint. To do this, follow these steps:

STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft PowerPoint 2000. MORE INFORMATIONBitmaps are pictures made from a series of small dots (pixels) that form shapes and lines. Bitmaps are created with paint programs, such as Microsoft Paint, or by scanning an image. Bitmaps cannot be converted to PowerPoint objects, although they can be scaled, cropped, and recolored by using the tools on the Picture toolbar.
