SYMPTOMS
If you are working in Black and White view, and attempt to use the F4 (Repeat) key (or the CTRL+Y key combination) to repeat a black and white color setting, the wrong black and white color setting may be applied.
WORKAROUNDMethod 1Manually change the Black and White settings for objects instead of pressing the F4 key.Method 2Select an object and select the Black and White formatting option directly after the one you want to apply to multiple objects using the F4 key. Select objects and press F4 as needed to change as many objects to your selected Black and White setting. When you are finished, manually change the original object to the desired setting.NOTE: If you select the Automatic Black and White option, pressing the F4 key will render subsequent objects in color. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft PowerPoint 2000. Additional query words: PPT2K PPT2000 PPT POWERPNT 2000 PPT9 9.0
