    • Microsoft Windows NT 4.0

SUMMARY

When you use PowerPoint 2000 on a computer with multiple monitors, running Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, you cannot choose the monitor on which to display the slide show.

MORE INFORMATION

Dual Matrox Millenium PCI display adapters are the only supported dual-monitor configuration on Windows NT 4.0. This configuration requires a special device driver that you can only obtain from Matrox.

Third party software and hardware that enable multiple monitor support under Windows NT 4.0 are:

  • Color Graphics
  • STB Inc. MVP-2X
  • Altex Electronics
  • Intergraph
These solutions are often a single display adapter that routes the output to multiple VGA ports on an external device.

The third-party products discussed in this article are manufactured by vendors independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding these products' performance or reliability.
