SYMPTOMSYou receive the following error message when you attempt to insert a PowerPoint 97 slide or presentation object onto a slide in Corel Presents version 6.0: This error occurs when you attempt to insert either a PowerPoint 97 Slide object or a PowerPoint 97 Presentation object using the New Object command on the Insert menu in Corel Presents. CAUSEWhen you insert an object in Corel Presents, you must draw a frame to identify the boundaries of the OLE object you want to insert. RESOLUTIONYou can embed a PowerPoint 97 Slide object or a PowerPoint 97 Presentation object into a Corel Presents presentation, using these steps:
You can edit the embedded PowerPoint object without receiving the error: To edit a PowerPoint Slide object, double-click it. To edit a PowerPoint Presentation object, select the object, point to Presentation Object on the Edit menu, and then click Edit. STATUS
