SYMPTOMSIf you format a line or object with a pattern fill, the line or object may print as solid black. If you view the slide in Black And White view, the line or object displays as a solid black fill. However, if you view the slide in a Slide Show, the line or object is displayed correctly. CAUSEThis behavior occurs if you selected the Black & White check box in the Print dialog box before you printed the presentation. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem and print the object correctly, use either of the following methods. Method 1: Change the Object's Black and White BehaviorUse this method if your slide is one that would normally not print well in black and white (for example, it may have a dark gradient background and small, light-colored text.)
Method 2: Do Not Print with the Black & White Option SelectedUse this method if your slide is one that would normally print well to a black and white printer (for example, it has a plain, light-colored background and dark text and graphics).
