To open or view a Microsoft PowerPoint 97 presentation on a computer running Windows 3.x that has PowerPoint 4.0 or the PowerPoint Viewer (16-bit) installed, you can install the PowerPoint 97 translator for PowerPoint 4.0.

NOTE: Currently there are no plans to create a PowerPoint 97 Viewer for Windows 3.x.
