SYMPTOMSDuring a slide show, if you run a macro that adds an object, such as a drawing object or shape, the screen flashes as the object appears. CAUSEWhen you add an object during a slide show, PowerPoint redraws the new image on the slide. To redraw the image, PowerPoint refreshes the entire screen. This causes the screen to flash. WORKAROUNDThere is no workaround currently available. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the beginning of this article.
