SUMMARY
For each text block in PowerPoint, PowerPoint accepts a maximum number of
nineteen user defined tab spaces. If you try to insert more than nineteen
tabs, nothing happens.

If you need this many tabs to create a table, use any of the following
methods:
- Use the Table AutoLayout feature.
- Use an Excel worksheet to format a table and insert it on a
PowerPoint slide.
- Use the Word table feature.
- Use a Microsoft Graph datasheet. To create a table in Graph, follow
these steps:
- Insert a new Microsoft Graph object.
- In Graph, select the Datasheet window.
- Enter the data on the datasheet as you want it to appear in
your presentation.
NOTE: Datasheets don't support many table formatting features, such
as customizable borders, adjustable row height, and word wrap.
- Highlight the data you want to include in your presentation.
- On the Edit menu, click Copy.
- End your Graph editing session.
- If necessary, delete the Graph object that was created in your
presentation.
- On the Edit menu, click Paste Special. Select Picture and
click Paste.
Your table is pasted into your slide as a picture. If you want
to remove the gridlines, double-click the picture to turn it into
several PowerPoint objects and remove the gridlines one at a time.
