SYMPTOMSAnimated items in your PowerPoint presentation do not dim after they animate when the timing for that item is set to automatic. This problem can affect any of the following items in your presentation:
CAUSEThis process is by design. When you set animations to automatic, the Dim Effect needs a mouse click to be initiated. If a mouse-click is not initiated, the Dim Effect will not occur. WORKAROUND
If you change the animation timings for your animated items to a mouse
click and change the slide transition for that slide to automatic the
bullets will dim correctly, but all other animation timings will be altered
slightly.
