SYMPTOMSThe characters take a long time to appear on-screen while you are typing in Microsoft PowerPoint. CAUSEThis behavior occurs if you type while you are recording a macro. When you record a macro, PowerPoint generates Visual Basic for Applications commands for each keystroke you make. This overhead causes a delay, and your keystrokes are not sent to the display at a normal speed. RESOLUTIONTo restore normal typing speed, stop recording the macro. To do this, point to Macros on the Tools menu, and click Stop Recording. Additional query words: 9.00 ppt9 vba vbe ppt2k powerpt vba2k ppt9.0 ppt2000 program programming
