The information in this article applies to:
-
Microsoft PowerPoint 2000
SYMPTOMS
If you record a macro to close the Slide Miniature by clicking the
Miniature's Close Window button (the X in the upper-right corner of the
window), the action is not recorded and the macro fails.
RESOLUTION
You can record a macro that closes the Slide Miniature. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the View menu, click Slide Miniature. This displays the Slide Miniature.
- On the Tools Menu, point to Macro, and then click Record New Macro.
- In the Macro name box, type a name for the macro (Close_Miniature,
for example).
NOTE: The first character of the name must be a letter. Other
characters can be letters, numbers, or the underscore character.
Because spaces are not allowed in a macro, an underscore works well
as a word separator.
- To change the description of the macro, edit the information in the
Description box, and then click OK.
- Click on Slide Miniature on the View menu to close the miniature.
- To stop recording your macro, click Stop Recording on the Stop Recording Toolbar.
