OL2000: PossibleValues Property Creates One-Off Form

SYMPTOMS

You use the PossibleValues property in the Outlook object model to populate a list box or combo box, and the form definition becomes stored within the item.


RESOLUTION

Use one of the following methods to work around the problem:

  • Use a different approach to populate the control.

  • Programmatically reset the message class of the item so that it will continue to use the published form.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
