SYMPTOMSAfter you apply interactivity to a Java applet, such as adding a mouse over effect to start another object on the page, the interactivity functions correctly when you play the page in Vizact, but it does not function correctly in your Web browser. CAUSESome Java applets handle the mouse events for an object. As in the case of FrontPage hover buttons, the applet events take precedance over the Vizact interactivity in the Web browser. The applet will function correctly; however, the Vizact interactivity will not function correctly, because it is unable to start any of the events. MORE INFORMATION
A Java applet is a scaled-down version of a full Java application, and it is run by a Java virtual machine (VM) that is implemented as part of a Web browser.
