VIZACT: Smooth Start and Smooth End Effects Do Not Work in Vizact Editor

SYMPTOMS

After you apply a rotation with a Smooth start and a Smooth end effect to a shape and play the page in Vizact, the rotation plays the same as when the Smooth start and the Smooth end check boxes are not selected.

CAUSE

You are playing the page in Vizact. Vizact only shows the rotation; the Smooth start and the Smooth end effects are not displayed in Vizact.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

Although you cannot see the effects in Vizact, when you view the page in your browser, the Smooth start and the Smooth end effects are displayed as expected.
