VIZACT: JavaScript, VBScript Does Not Play Within Vizact

SYMPTOMS

When you play a page with JavaScript or Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript) code inside of Vizact, the JavaScript or VBScript does not work.

CAUSE

This behavior is by design. Vizact is not designed to play scripts from within the application.

If you preview the page in a Web browser all of your pages with JavaScript and VBScript will display as expected. If you have scripts on your page, and you want to see how the page will actually appear, preview the page in your Web browser. For more information about playing a page in Vizact, click Help and Tutorials on the Help menu, click the Index tab in Microsoft Vizact Help, type the following text

play

and then double-click play a page.For more information about previewing a page in the browser, click Help and Tutorials on the Help menu, click the Index tab in Microsoft Vizact Help, type the following text

preview

and then double-click Preview in Browser.
