SYMPTOMSWhen you start Microsoft Word from a shortcut that has the /a switch on the path, you are prompted twice to enter your user name and initials. If you specify a different user name than appears in the User Name box, the original name reappears after you click OK, and you have to re-enter the new user name. WORKAROUNDYou can ignore the first prompt and enter your name when you receive the second prompt. Word uses the name you entered the second time for such features as file properties, comments, and track changes.
