WD2000: Magnifier Accessibility Tool Does Not Track Symbol Selections

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Windows Magnifier Accessibility tool and you select symbols in the Symbols dialog box (on the Insert menu, click Symbol) by using the keyboard, the Magnifier is slow to respond to the keystrokes or does not track your selections.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use the mouse and click to select the symbols you want to see or insert.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
