When you work with a Word table in outline view, you may experience the following problems. Case 1You are unable to demote the heading style of a table row to one greater than Heading 2.Case 2When you use the arrow icons (or keys) to demote or promote a table cell within one row, the entire row is formatted with that level heading style.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, apply the style manually. To do this, select the table row (or place the insertion point into the cell of the table) to which you want to apply a particular heading style, and use either of the following methods:
