SYMPTOMS

When Word has been automated from another process, for example,

  • In Microsoft Outlook 2000 you have turned on Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages


    • -and-

  • In Word you use the WordBasic.ToolsSpelling command in Visual Basic for Applications


the following message does not appear upon completion of the spelling check:
The spelling check is complete.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
