WD2000: Word on AutoCorrect Exceptions List Is Automatically Corrected

SYMPTOMS

A word that you type in your document may be automatically corrected even though you added it to the AutoCorrect Exceptions list.

To locate the AutoCorrect Exceptions list, click AutoCorrect on the Tools menu, click the AutoCorrect tab, and then click Exceptions.


WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, click Undo after you type the word that is automatically corrected.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
