SYMPTOMS
When you delete a bulleted or numbered paragraph, including the paragraph mark, while the Track Changes while editing option is selected, you won't be able to reapply the bullet or numbering properties to the text. The Bullets and Numbering command on the Format menu and the Bullets and Numbering buttons on the Formatting toolbar will be unavailable (dimmed).
CAUSEThe bullet or numbering status of the paragraph will remain unchanged until a new paragraph mark takes its place. WORKAROUNDTo be able to apply bullets or numbering to or remove bullets or numbering from the paragraph, do not mark the paragraph mark for deletion. To unmark the paragraph for deletion, follow these steps:
