WD2000: How to Change the Format of Automatic Page Numbers

To modify the format of automatic page numbers, follow these steps:

  1. On the Format menu, click Style.


  2. In the List box, click All styles.


  3. In the Styles box, select Page Number, and then click Modify.


  4. Click Format, and then on the shortcut menu, click Font.


  5. Click the Font tab, and then select the desired font, style, size, and effect (if any).


  6. Click OK.

    NOTE: If the formatting for the Page Number style is to be used as the default for newly created documents, click to select the Add to template check box in the lower-left corner of the Modify Style dialog box.


  7. Click OK, and then click Close in the Style dialog box.
