SYMPTOMSWhen you have 33 or more text boxes that you have linked together, text does not flow past the 32nd text box into the 33rd text box. In other words, the link does not actually exist. CAUSEThe maximum number of text boxes you can link together is 32 (31 links). If you attempt to link to a 33rd text box, you receive no error message, text does not flow into the text box, and no link is formed. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use one of the following methods. Method 1: Change the Text Box SizeIncrease the size of the existing text boxes to hold more text, so that you do not need additional linked text boxes.

You can link two or more text boxes so that text flows between them as you type. You can also create text box links among shapes, such as circles, banners, and flow chart shapes. A text box or shape can have only one forward, or next, link and one backward, or previous, link.
