SYMPTOMS
When you save as a Web page a document that contains tabs to form columns, the tabs may appear to be retained, but the columns may also appear jagged when you view the document in a Web browser. CAUSE
This problem occurs because Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) doesn't fully support the tab character. Word converts tab characters to HTML using
