SYMPTOMSWhen you save a document as a Web page and the document contains font formatting for vertical character position (on the Format menu, click Font and then click the Character Spacing tab), this affects the vertical placement on the page of the font formatting and may result in the descenders of certain characters, such as the lowercase letter "y", appearing truncated (partially missing). WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, turn off the Disable features not supported by option in the Microsoft Word Web options.
