SYMPTOMSWhen you copy and paste a WordArt image as a picture (enhanced metafile) (on the Edit menu, click Paste Special), and then edit the picture with Word as the picture editor, the WordArt image fill becomes a separate background or foreground covering the text of the WordArt image. WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, you can use another picture editor to edit the enhanced metafile image. For example, you can use Microsoft PhotoDraw as your picture editor in Word.
