Microsoft Word 2000 includes two new field switches for the INDEX field that are not documented in Word Help. MORE INFORMATIONThe INDEX field includes switches that allow the index to sort correctly for the language you specify. Languages that use the caret (^), tilde (~), and other accent characters have specific sorting rules that are observed when these switches are specified. For more information about language support, click Microsoft Word Help on the
Help menu, type "What is language support?" in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard,
