SYMPTOMSWhen you view a macro or command on the Commands tab in the Customize dialog box (on the Tools menu, click Customize), the macro or command name is truncated. For example, if you have a macro called Normal.NewMacros.ThisIsAMacroWithAVeryLongNameyou may see something similar to this: Normal.NewMacros.ThisIsAMacroW CAUSEThere is no horizontal scroll bar in the Commands dialog box, and the dialog box is not sizable. The dialog box displays approximately 30 characters. WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior and have the full macro name appear in the Commands list, shorten the module or macro name so that it is no more than about 30 characters. To do this, follow these steps:
