To change the default font Word uses as your e-mail editor, follow these steps:

  1. In Microsoft Outlook, point to New on the File menu and click Mail Message.


  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.


  3. On the General tab, click E-mail Options.


  4. Click to select the Personal Stationery tab.


  5. Click Font in the New Mail Messages section. Or click Font in the Replying or Forwarding Messages section.


  6. In the Font list, select the font you want and click OK.


  7. Click OK two more times.
