SYMPTOMS

After you use the Paste link command to paste text in your Word document as Unformatted Unicode Text and save your document as a Web page, the following error message may appear:

There is not enough memory or disk space to display or print the picture.


WORKAROUND

The error message has no effect on Microsoft Word and is "harmless". To clear the error message, click OK. To prevent this error message from appearing, use one of the following methods:

Method 1: Paste as Unformatted Unicode Text

Do not use Paste link to paste text as Unformatted Unicode Text. Instead, use the following steps:
  1. After selecting and copying the text you want, click Paste Special on the Edit menu.


  2. Click to select Unformatted Unicode Text.


  3. Click to select Paste and then click OK.


Method 2: Use Paste Link to Paste As HTML Format

  1. After selecting and copying the text you want, click Paste Special on the Edit menu.


  2. Click to select HTML Format.


  3. Click to select Paste link and then click OK.



STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
