WD2000: Cannot Center a Nested Table

SYMPTOMS

In Word 2000, you cannot center a nested table.

CAUSE

When a table is drawn in Word 2000, the default wrapping style is set to "around". Because Web browsers do not support center-aligned text-wrapped tables, the nested table is not centered.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
