When you enter a hyperlink into a document and the hyperlink begins with the number sign character (#), editing the hyperlink replaces the number sign character (#) with "/ - ". http://#WebSite/MyWebPageafter editing, changes to, http:/// - WebSite/MyWebPageWhen you click the hyperlink, either before or after you edit the hyperlink, the following error message appears: NOTE: When you edit the hyperlink in Word, the Text to display box replaces the number sign character (#) with "/ - ". WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, if possible, change the Web site or Web page name to remove the number sign character (#).
