To work around this problem, use the appropriate method for your situation. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONThe /a switch allows you to start Word and prevent add-ins and global templates (including the Normal template) from being loaded automatically.
