SYMPTOMSWhen a document that was created in Microsoft Word for Windows NT, version 6.0, is opened in Microsoft Word 2000, the paper size may change from A4 to Letter. CAUSEWord for Windows NT does not save any paper size information by default. You will see this problem if the document was created on a computer with a Regional Setting that uses a different page size by default. English (UK) uses A4, for example, and English (US) uses Letter as the default paper size. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next service pack
that contains this fix. http://www.microsoft.com/support/supportnet/overview/overview.asp STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed
at the beginning of this article. Additional query words: WD2000 OFF2000
