  • Microsoft Word 2000

SYMPTOMS

When you type text into a document created by the Pleading Wizard, one too many lines of text may appear on the page.

For example, by default, the Pleading Wizard creates a page with 25 line numbers. When you type a complete page of text, 26 lines of text may appear on the page.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, insert a page break after the last line number on the pleading page. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. In the pleading document, place the insertion point at the start of the line of text that does not have a line number.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • Press CTRL+ENTER. This inserts a page break and forces the un-numbered line to the next page.

      -or-

    • On the Insert menu, click Break. In the Break dialog box, click to select Page Break and then click OK.

NOTE: You need to repeat these steps for each page of your pleading document.

STATUS
