KNOWN ISSUES

When you use the TableMath macro, you may receive the following errors:
  • Error #143 ("Command Failed") when double-clicking a Value item.


  • Error message when using Subtraction.


  • Target cell contents not appearing in the Show Value message box.


  • Status bar loses text.


  • Table Cells are selected but none appear in macro.


Error #143 ("Command Failed") when double-clicking a Value item

This error occurs when you double-click the last item in the Values list box. To work around this problem:
  1. Select the final item in the Values list.


  2. Click the Exclude button. (This will remove the item from the list without the error message appearing.)


Error message when using Subtraction

When the Subtraction function is selected when a range is in the Values list box, the following message appears:
The SUBTRACTION (-) function cannot operate on more than one value.
To work around this problem:
  1. Remove the range from the Values list box.


  2. Change to the Subtraction function.


  3. Re-add the cells individually.


Target cell contents not appearing in the Show Value message box

This problem occurs if all of the following are true:
  • The Clipboard check box is not checked.


  • A cell is selected in the Target list box.


  • The Show Value button is clicked.


The result displayed in the message box will be the active cell in the List list box.

To work around this problem:
  1. Click in the List list box.


  2. Select the target cell.


  3. Click the Show Value button.


Status Bar Loses Text

When a message appears on the screen, the text in the status bar disappears and is not replaced. This happens because the message box places "For Help, press F1" in the status bar by default.

Currently there is no workaround.

Table Cells are selected but none appear in macro

This problem occurs if part or all of the table is selected along with something outside of the table. This is by design; if a table cell is part of the formula and it is pasted outside of the table, the resulting field will return an error.
