SYMPTOMSBecause a revision mark is a formatting property, when finding and replacing text, Word ignores revision marks, even if the text has deletion revision marks applied to it. MORE INFORMATIONTo search for text as it will appear after revision marks are accepted, choose Find or Replace from the Edit menu, and in the Find What box, press CTRL+N. The Format box will then display New. This indicates that the search will be performed on new text (that is, after revision marks). Pressing CTRL+N again will display Not New, which indicates text before revision marks (by default). Pressing CTRL+N a third time clears this property from the Format box.
