The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSA font contained in a document may appear missing from the Font Substitutions dialog box. The correct font, however, appears both on screen and when the document is printed. CAUSE
This behavior occurs when the following two conditions are met:

Word has no way of knowing that "Show Only TrueType Fonts in Applications"
is selected. Windows simply refrains from listing non-TrueType fonts when
Word asks for a list of fonts.
