SUMMARY
To create white text on a black background in WordArt, follow the steps
below:
- Create or open a word-processing document or a database form.
- Move the insertion point (text cursor) to the location where you want
to insert the WordArt object.
- On the Insert menu, click WordArt.
- In the Enter Your Text Here box, type your text.
- On the WordArt Format menu, click Shading.
- In the Shading box, click White/Black for the Foreground color (ignore
background color).
- Click OK.
Some printers, such as the Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet Series II, detect
TrueType text as black. If you are using such a printer, you must select
the Print TrueType As Graphics option in the Setup dialog box in the
Printers section of Windows Control Panel.
