GP Fault in Page Setup Dialog Box with Intel Faxability 2.0

SYMPTOMS

If your default printer setting is Intel Faxability 2.0 for Windows (appears as Faxability on FAXMODEM in the Print Setup dialog box), you may get a general protection (GP) fault in module WINWORD.EXE when you choose Page Setup from the File menu in Word for Windows.


STATUS

WORKAROUND

To work on the document, select a different default printer. Switch to the Faxability driver when you are ready to send the fax.
