SYMPTOMSAfter installing Microsoft Office version 4.2 from a Windows NT Advanced Server 3.1 to a Windows NT 3.1 with the workstation setup option, the output of fonts and dialog boxes for Word 6.0 for Windows may appear incorrectly. For example, Word for Windows 6.0 may not display any fonts, and dialog boxes may exceed the boundaries of the screen. The output of other applications in the Office 4.2 suite are displayed correctly. WORKAROUNDA temporary workaround for this problem is to delete the current user profile. However, the above behavior may occur again after a short period of time. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. Additional query words: 3.10 6.0 winword officeinterop word6 winnt
