Removing Installed Components of WOPR for Word 6.0

SUMMARY

This article describes how to remove installed components of Woody's Office Power Pack (WOPR), for Word for Windows, version 6.0. Installed components of WOPR may include one or more of the following: Enveloper, File Manager, TBEdit, Two-by-Four, File New, Stellar Spellar, WinBreak Lite, TSS Address Book Lite, and Little WOPRs.

  1. Enveloper

    1. Open WOPRINST.DOC. (WOPR installs this file in the <WINWORD>\WOPR6 subdirectory by default. Specify a different path if you installed the file in a different subdirectory.) Double-click the sentence, "Double click here to install and uninstall WOPR6.0," at the top of the document.


    2. Select Enveloper 6.0 from the Already Installed list on the right and choose the Uninstall button.




  2. WOPR File Manager

    1. From the File menu, choose Templates. Clear the WOPRFIL.WLL check box and choose the OK button.


    2. Delete the WOPRFILE.WLL, WOPRFILE.INI, WOPRFILE.HLP files from your <WINWORD>\STARTUP subdirectory.


    3. Delete INTLSTR.DLL and WOPRDOS.DLL from your <WINDOWS>\SYSTEM subdirectory.




  3. TBEdit

    1. From the File menu, choose Templates. Clear the TBEDIT6.WLL check box and choose the OK button.


    2. Delete TBEDIT6.WLL, TBEDIT6.HLP, WOPR_BIG.TBL, and WOPR_SML.TBL from your <WINWORD>\STARTUP subdirectory.




  4. Two-by-Four

    1. Open WOPRINST.DOC from your <WINWORD>\WOPR6 subdirectory. Double- click the sentence "Double click here to install and uninstall WOPR6.0" at the top of the document.


    2. From the Already Installed list on the right, select Two-by-Four 6.0 and choose the Uninstall button.




  5. File New

    1. Open WOPRINST.DOC from your <WINWORD>\WOPR6 subdirectory, and double- click the sentence at the top of the document.


    2. From the Already Installed list on the right, select WOPR File New and choose the Uninstall button.




  6. Stellar Spellar

    1. Create and run a macro with the following text:
      
               Sub Main
               WOPRSpellerUninstall
               End Sub 


    2. From the File menu, choose Templates. Clear the SPELLAR.WLL check box and choose the OK button.


    3. Delete the SPELLAR.WLL file from your <WINWORD>\STARTUP subdirectory.




  7. WinBreak Lite

    1. Delete the WINBREAK icon from your Windows Startup group.


    2. Delete the following files from your WINBREAK directory: WBRHOOK2.DLL, DEFAULT.WAV, WINBREAK.EXE, WINBREAK.HLP.




  8. TSS Address Book Lite

    1. Open WOPRINST.DOC from your <WINWORD>\WOPR6 subdirectory, and double- click the sentence at the top of the document.


    2. Select TSS Address Book Lite from the Already Installed list on the right and choose the Uninstall button.




  9. Little WOPRs

    1. Open WOPRINST.DOC from your <WINWORD>\WOPR6 subdirectory, and double- click the sentence at the top of the document.


    2. Select a lil'WOPR from the already installed list on the right and choose the Uninstall button.
