SUMMARY
AutoSketch is a graphics package that combines CAD and illustration
capabilities. Drawings in AutoSketch can be imported into Word versions
2.0x and 6.0 for Windows.
MORE INFORMATION
To insert an AutoSketch drawing in Word, open the drawing in AutoSketch,
then perform the following steps:
- In AutoSketch, choose Edit from the menu. This will activate the Edit
toolbar.
- From the Edit toolbar, choose one of the following three buttons:
- Copy as Bitmap
- Copy as Metafile
- Paste
After choosing one of these three options, your cursor changes to a
crossbow that allows you to click and drag to draw a box around the
drawing. When you release the mouse button, the outline disappears, but
the drawing is copied to the Clipboard.
- Open your document in Word.
- Choose Paste or Paste Special from the Edit menu.
In addition to the above method, you can choose Insert Object from the Edit
menu in Word to insert an AutoSketch Object. However, if you choose this
method in Word version 6.0, you will not be able to edit the object. For
